| The Paintings At Night . . . We echo to each other. Who suffered most, who sat for longest, whose been restored, who got hidden during the war. Whose been painting of the month, turned into a postcard, reprinted and sold a million times, catalogued, downloaded, our faces pressed and contorted. It seemed like flattery once, but in the hushed quiet of our own eternal night, we can't help but resent all this endless watching. We never realised that life is just a rough sketching, but now find we are layers and layers of everyone who ever looked at us. . . . Aoife Mannix © 2007 Language of crucifixions and starry nights. |

we went to the park at lunch, went on the swings and climbing poles then had to run back for registration... extreme sports! i was out of breath. these are the treasured mements from the last days of school.... ah. we had questionnaire to fill in for art. i felt the need to put a decent effort writing it. i don't want Art to end just like this. i dislike abrupt endings. i hope the memory of staying at Art will always remain vivid. 10 days till i get baptised! still haven't invited people. in a way i don't know how to. for these coming days i just want to remain close to God and grow in him .
tree gang :) p.s. may be i'm being really naive, but why do everyone seem to be frantically finding jobs after AL? .. i wouldn't want to work :p |

| may God bless the souls who suffer from the tragic mass shooting... i don't understand why these things happened... but we trust that ALL things work for the good of those who believe in God. indeed everything is under God's control even it's incomprehensible. deadline's near. let's endure and persevere till the end. suffering is good for it bears good fruits. yes. |
